Release time:05/29 10:04,2025 Source:Internet

On the 28th, Mao Ning, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, presided over a regular press conference. A reporter asked, "We have noticed that during the ASEAN-China-Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit, China announced a pilot visa-waiver policy for four countries, including Saudi Arabia. Could the spokesperson provide further details?" In response, Mao Ning stated that to further facilitate exchanges between Chinese and foreign nationals, China has decided to expand the scope of countries eligible for visa waivers. From June 9, 2025, to June 8, 2026, a pilot visa-waiver policy will be implemented for ordinary passport holders from Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, and Bahrain. Ordinary passport holders from these four countries can enter China without a visa for business, tourism, visiting relatives and friends, exchanges, visits, or transit for no more than 30 days. Together with the UAE and Qatar, which have had a full visa-waiver agreement with China since 2018, China has now implemented visa-waiver policies for all GCC member states. She also said, "We welcome more friends from GCC countries to embark on an impromptu trip to China."
